I love to get excited about painting, and my excitement & passion come from everyday situations. Whether it is the sharpness of a bright sunny day with amazing shadows, or a wet, gloomy day with brillant reflections, or just somebody (usually my children!) doing their jobs or just sitting around doing everyday things, I really do enjoy trying to capture a special moment. I love the unpredictability of water colour as sometimes what could be a disaster turns out to be something brillant.

Over the years I have had awards from 'Totara Hotel Art Awards Exhibitions', 'North Otago Biannual Exhibitions', Edinghburgh Art Awards and the 'Otago Art Awards Exhibitions'. I have also exhibited with Mary Horn, Terry Low, Pauline Bellamy, Ron Esplin, Tony Sheilds and Rachel Garland. I have also been lucky enough to attend a painting workshop with Herman Pekel, one of my favourite Artists. In June 2017 I travelled to France to paint for a week. My paintings have recently featured in 'Living Artist of Today - Contemporary Art volume111'- This book is used as a tool for Art Galleries and Art Schools worldwide and available from Amazon. In 2020 I was asked to Exhibit in 'Artifact' a Art Gallery in New York- Although due to covid this never happened!!

My paintings are professionally framed using quality materials. the Price for a original Framed painting starts at $1200, Some of my paintings are available in prints (limited edition of 20) Prints are $230 Unframed or $650 framed.

I also have greeting cards available in most images, $5 each or 3 for $12.00.
